Week Four - Guided Meditation

Balanced Emotions

Congratulations on beginning your fourth week. We now journey from the mind into the heart to explore the landscape of our emotions.

This week is dedicated to finding emotional balance. We’ll practice observing our feelings as they arise—like clouds passing in the sky—without being swept away by them. This is how we build true emotional resilience and peace. Let’s explore your inner world with kindness and curiosity.

Today, we continue our focus on emotional well-being by exploring the idea of balance.

For this practice, let’s set aside the idea of “good” or “bad” emotions. Instead, let’s view them simply as opposing forces, each with its own energy—like joy and sadness.

Think of it like day and night. Neither is good nor bad; both are essential, and the existence of one helps us understand and appreciate the other. Today, we practice observing our emotions with this same non-judgmental awareness.

Well done on your practice today.

As you move into the hours ahead, carry with you the positive emotion you chose to focus on—whether it’s love, generosity, or calm.

Let that feeling guide you. Have a fantastic day.

Hello, and welcome to Day 2 of your meditation practice.

Today, we turn our attention to the powerful and healing energy of love.

For the next ten minutes, our entire focus will be on cultivating this feeling—first, a deep love for yourself, and then a compassionate love for all. Let’s begin.

As you gently bring your awareness back, prepare to rise from this meditation.

Carry with you a beautiful sense of love—first for yourself, and then for all those around you.

Let that feeling of love and optimal health guide you. Have a fantastic day.

Hello, and welcome to Day 3 of your meditation practice. We hope this is becoming a welcome part of your daily routine.

After focusing on love yesterday, today we turn our attention to a more challenging emotion: anger.

While it may seem like a difficult topic, it has been said that anger is actually a powerful guide. It doesn’t come to harm you, but to show you exactly where you need to heal. With that perspective in mind, let’s follow our usual practice and begin.

Well done on today’s practice.

Remember the power you have: you can either react to anger or choose to respond to it. When you respond, it becomes your greatest teacher.

Take that power into your day. Have a wonderful and healthy day.

Welcome to your practice on Day 4.

Today, we will gently hold space for the powerful emotion of fear. While it can be the source of many difficulties, we can change our relationship with it.

Consider the beautiful idea that fear is simply the absence of love. When we see it this way, we realize we can fill the space that fear occupies with its powerful opposite: passion. This is our focus today. Let’s explore this together.

Thank you for your practice today.

As you go about your day, remember this: passion negates fear. Don’t let fear be your ruler; choose to live from a place of passion instead.

Carry that empowering choice with you, focus on your well-being, and have a fantastic day.

Hello, and welcome to Day 5 of your meditation practice. We wish you the very best for the day ahead.

Today, we turn our attention to the tender emotion of sadness, with the intention of transforming it into happiness.

In many traditions, sadness is said to be held in the lungs and is often closely connected to love. Our practice today is not to fight sadness, but to meet it with joy, happiness, and a celebration of ourselves, allowing that warmth to gently dissolve it. Let’s begin.

Thank you for your practice today.

As you go about your day, remember that the option to hold joy in your heart is always yours. Whenever you can, choose happiness.

Wishing you a fantastic day filled with health and light.

Hello, and welcome to Day 6 of your meditation practice.

Today, we approach the challenging emotions of shame and guilt. Our intention is not to dwell on them, but to transform them: to turn shame into dignity, and guilt into a renewed sense of pride in ourselves.

Like stress, these feelings aren’t held in one specific place; they can affect our entire body. Therefore, let’s approach this practice with an open heart and a clear mind, ready to honestly and gently look at these emotions. Let’s begin.
