Week 7

 Strengthening the Mind

As we enter Week 7, we re-focus on the mental aspect of wellness. This week is about building mental strength, refining your mindset, and cultivating greater self-awareness.

Instructions for the week ahead:

  • Questions: Re-answer the questions from Week 3.
  • Weekly Document: READ OR LISTEN TO EVERY DAY.
  • Daily Meditations: A meditation for each day.
  • Exercise & Recipes: Continue from last week.

Step 1: Reflect on previous weeks.

Revisit the questions from Week 3 and rewrite your answers. How have your emotional and physical changes influenced your mental
state? Journal the changes.

Step 2: Stay accountable to yourself.

Share your reflections with those close to you. Be open about struggles or breakthroughs.

Step 3: Compare and Evaluate.

Look for changes in your honesty levels, physical improvements, and emotional/mental clarity.

Step 4: Revisit Week 3 Steps.

Repeat the steps from Week 3, focusing on mental wellness.

Step 5: Deepen Your Understanding of Nutrition.

Re-assess your diet. Reflect on how nutrition affects your mental clarity and mood.

Step 6: Evolve your training program.

Evaluate your progress. If something isn’t working, adjust or restart. Starting over is often the best choice over sticking with something that no longer serves you.

Step 7: Embrace Self-Gratitude.

Incorporate gratitude for how far you’ve come in your mental fitness journey. Acknowledge the changes you’ve made, both visible and internal.

Tasks:

Take a sum of money relevant to you and put it aside, or pick something very important to you that you don’t like missing. Pick two tasks that will each take 20 minutes. Put a time and date on them. You must do the tasks at that time and date, or you lose the money or miss the important event you have agreed upon in a contract with yourself.

Summary

  • Self-Reflection and Clarity: Reflect on how your thoughts, emotions, and actions have evolved.
  • Accountability: Engage with those who have helped you on your journey.
  • Adaptability: Stay open to change in your physical routine, mindset, or overall approach.
  • Gratitude: Embrace how far you’ve come and celebrate your mental and physical progress.

Rule your mind or it will rule you.
